to brighten up your day.
Wish I could collect sunshine,
and send it out your way.
Wish I could send dew drops,
to put sparkle in your life.
Wish I could send rain.
to wash away life's strife.
Wish I could send a breeze,
to sweep away life's heavy load.
Wish I could send starlight.
to brighten your abode.
But no mortal can do this,
the Lord knows what is best.
I'll say a prayer for you,
and the Lord will do the rest.
