Sitting on the back porch,
in the rocking chair.
The leaves changing colors,
soon they'll be bare.
The suns shining bright,
birds singing in the trees.
Groundhogs gathering bedding,
there's a cool evening breeze.
The squirrels gathers nuts,
winter's not far away.
The bees are still working,
birds soon will fly away.
Fall is a nice time,
summer comes to an end.
Then winter and its beauty,
spring right around the bend.
Sitting here rocking,
slowing down the pace.
Seasons and the changes,
Only God put in place.
