By Jo Ann J. Lovelace

Momma taught me how to clean house,
she taught me how to iron.
She taught me how to do laundry,
and she taught me how to darn.

She taught me how to do dishes,
and she taught me how to sew.
She taught me how to plant a garden,
and how to tie a bow.
She taught me how to mow the yard,
and she taught me how to rake.
She taught me how to chop wood,
and taught me how to bake a cake.
She taught me how to clip hedges,
and taught me how to make the bed.
She taught me how to clean windows,
and taught me how to make the bread.
There's so many things she taught me,
and she taught me all along.
But the best thing Momma taught me,
she taught me right from wrong.
