Necklaces made from daisies,
a bracelet for our wrist.
Looking through old catalogs,
things we wanted made a list.
Skip a rope and hopscotch,
Hide and seek and tag.
Chalk on the sidewalks,
penny candy in a bag.
Homemade green ice cream,
such a special treat.
Hot dogs and French fries,
something great to eat.
Way back long ago,
Run and kicked the can.
Pinned tail on the donkey,
tagged and then we ran.
