First mix well 1 cup buttermilk, and 1 teaspoon soda, let stand until other ingredients are mixed, then add.

1 and 1/2 cup sugar

3 large eggs

1 cup oil

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups self rising flour

1 cup nuts (your choice)

1 teaspoon all spice

2 large jars of baby food prunes

Mix well, pour in large greased Bundt pan, and bake at 350 until done

Topping

1/2 cup buttermilk

1/2 teaspoon soda

1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon syrup

1 stick oleo

Cook over medium heat until smooth

Once cake has cooled add the topping
