Once there was a donkey,
and he had enormous ears.
He could hear very well,
and the donkey had no fears.
Once there was a donkey,
his eyes were big and round.
anywhere there was oats and hay,
the donkey could be found.
Once there was a donkey,
and he had great big teeth.
He chewed up some straw,
and made a Christmas wreath.
Once there was a donkey,
he had a great big nose.
He could smell everything,
from the treetops to his toes.
Once there was a donkey,
and he had really big feet.
He often ran track races,
and he never could be beat.
Once there was a donkey,
and he had a big loud bray.
He sounded like a fog horn,
folks could hear him miles away.
Once there was a donkey,
and his tail was really strong.
He used it to swat horseflies,
he could swat them all day long.
Once there was a donkey,
and his legs were very short.
But he could move very fast,
and this donkey's name was Mort.
