I loved you way back,
when you moved next door.
I loved you even then,
when I was only four.
I loved you in grade school,
I loved you in junior high.
I loved you in high school,
and I'll love you til I die.
I loved you on our wedding day,
when we said I do.
I meant every word I said,
and my love is true.
I'll love you if we're rich,
I'll love you if we're poor.
I'll love you through hardships,
each day I'll love you more.
It's been sixty years together,
more than half of our life.
And I'll love you forever,
said the old man to his wife.
